What are Zen Musings? Back many years ago I wrote a very successful BLOG called My Buddha Nature. It was my thoughts on life and its relationship to martial arts. If you believe the folklore martial arts has its roots deep into the teaching of the Buddha. As legend has it one of his disciples traveled from India to China to discover the monks in very poor health. He implement a body/mind/spirit training that became the martial arts of today.
I became very interested in the teaching of Buddha back in the 90's while I was study with a Chi Master from Korea. Se encouraged my study as it would help me deal with life in general. I did not very diligently for about 10 years. Here is a LINK to my old Twitter account called My Buddha Nature.
Now you must realize that true Buddhist teaching are NOT a religion because there is no "god" references. They are a way of life and understanding ones self. This is one of the reasons why there are many people of different faiths who also practice Buddhism.
After the Blog came down when different events in my life caused me to remove it I kept the essays. If you are interested in a copy of this work, the eBook I call Zen Musings. So what does this have to do with Kyusho Jitsu? Everything! Today as I am sure you have noticed the world has gone a little crazy. People need to find peace of mind. These teaching will help. What the martial artists truly needs is a "peaceful heart" but also a "warriors spirit."
